Create an internal business plan.

This course is a practical guide on how to create an internal business plan. It is for anyone who is looking to start a business, or already owns a business that doesn’t have a current business plan.

This course is a step-by-step guide for creating your business plan.

There are 3 sections, each has activities for you to do as part of that section. You listen to the presentation, and then go away and complete an activity, and then return for the next part.

Section 1 - I show you how to create your vision and values, and explain why this is such an important step.

Section 2 - we look at how to select goals to work towards, and how this will help you break down a big ambitious vision, and turn it into more manageable goals.

Section 3 - we take those goals a step further, break them down into milestones and set the levels we will work towards.

By the end you will have generated a 3 year business plan that you can see on a single page – this will act as a reference point to guide you along that journey.

You can then take this plan, and focus on the goals and milestones you have set for year 1 and expand that into a more detailed plan of action.

Mini-course Trainer Rebecca Smith

My mission is to give business owners and managers, the mechanisms they need, to take business goals and objectives, and turn them into outcomes and results – I want to help them create a plan they can actually implement. I do this because I want to help them overcome common management problems with as much ease, and as little pain as is possible – I’ve had to navigate through so many of these myself, and relied heavily on trial and error, now I want to help others avoid that lengthy and lonely process.

This course is funded by UKSPF.
